Apex Legends download from the EA app is bugged

I was introduced to Apex Legends by a friend and was really excited to try it out, but downloading it through the EA app has been a nightmare lately—slow speeds, random errors, and sometimes it just freezes entirely. After trying multiple fixes, I ended up looking for alternatives and came across Heyapks, which offered a smoother download experience for the game files. It saved me a lot of frustration. Just be sure to verify any files for safety, as always.

I also want to know as I have two id, one has heirloom while other id is lvl 20 something and that id is linked to steam but I want steam to be linked with my main id

Thanks again for the patience while we were getting this cleared up.

We've just pushed a fix that should resolve this, so if you're using EA app to launch Apex please give that another try when you have a chance. If you're still running into this issue it may help to clear the cache on the EA app now that the fix is live.

I downloaded the game successfully 😀

For those, who want to speed up the process: copy 3 folders from the Steam version (audio, media, paks) to a new folder "E:\Apex", then force EA App to download the game there.

None whatsoever, you lose everything 

I have two apex id but the id which I want to play with is not linked to steam. Otherwise steam is definitely better choice. I can’t even relink my steam id to my main ea id.
