Evo Upgrade Stops Ballistic's Sling Weapon from shooting

Title basically explains everything.... When you do enough damage to upgrade your evo as Ballistic, if you are mid one-clip using your sling weapon (even in ult) the gun stops shooting and reloads itself. Which means twice a game the gun that makes your legend unique, special, and, powerful, will jam. TWICE each game, most likely in a close range engagement when you really need all the bullets that you thought were in your clip. This  is bad, bad, bad, mechanic and has been around for multiple seasons now. Please fix it, I want to play ballistic.
