Friend not appearing on gifting list - (friends 2 weeks +)

hugzzx  Hmm strange... the only thing I could think of, would be if your friend recently had any bans and/or suspensions, as that can cause them to not only be unable to send gifts, but to be unable to receive as well, (as one of the requirements for gifting, is that both accounts must be in good standings).

Midnight9746I had them on steam prior to playing Apex, then when on Apex I still sent a friend request to add in game so I know we both have each other on there and on steam + EA app. :/

hugzzx  When you had added them as a friend, did you add them in-game or through the EA App, Steam, Xbox, etc.

If it wasn't through the in-game friends list, that might be the reason, (although one of my friends I had added through the EA App, and I'm able to gift them, so I'm not quite sure).

Midnight9746  I'm afraid I have tried this and it still doesn't work, and I've tried everything the advisor asked me to do as well and still nothing worked. Everything has been checked in the image you had attached. His name just doesn't exist in my list of friends to gift not even as offline and the same goes for him, my name not even appearing in his list either. 

I've also gifted other friends and they appear offline yet I was able to still gift it to them. So I'm really confused on why his name in particular is not showing? I've also checked alongside other friends and they show multiple of the same names because I also have them added on those additional platforms too so it really doesn't make sense as to why I can't even search for his name. 

hugzzx  It might be due to this privacy setting, (shown below), so have you tried searching for them by their EA ID/Username, (or see if another friend could find them instead)?

Note: If the box for "Steam Account Name" is unchecked, it may not show them as being online, since they're on their Steam account, (or they're showing up as offline in the Steam Launcher itself).
