Game penalty

This is the second time playing mad Maggie in arenas and my PS5 shuts down during the entro screen. I attempted to log back in and once I get back in I get a 10 minute abandon game penalty? Why? It's not my fault the game has a bug. But plus side is, I had plenty of time to figure out how to submit this big before my time penalty was over.
