As of 8/5, with the release of the Showdown update, this bug is still currently in the game. Its frustrating as well since the gunshield as a hop-up on the R301 works correctly and actually looks how it should look on gibby, but it just doesnt work. Like it works for everyone else in the game except for gibby.
