Permanent bans for “gameplay enhancement”

Hi everyone,

I’m posting here to see if anyone has experienced something similar or if an EA Community Manager can provide guidance.

On January 19, I was playing Apex Legends custom games with a TikTok streamer. During the second match, I was suddenly removed mid-game and received a notification that my account was banned. In my case history, the reason given was “Gameplay Enhancement.”

I want to be clear that I have never used cheats, macros, scripts, or any third-party software to gain an advantage. I use a standard PC setup and a hall-effect keyboard, but no automation or input manipulation.

I’ve submitted multiple appeals, all of which were denied with the same response, without any additional clarification. I understand EA cannot share detection details, but I’m genuinely trying to understand whether there is any further review process available or if this decision is final.

If anyone has gone through something similar or has advice on next steps, I’d appreciate hearing from you. Thank you for taking the time to read.

    Similar situation happened to me on 21st of Jan. Awaiting my 3rd appeal and i dont think EA has a clue about whats going on

  • I'm a casual solo player with 500 avg damage, 1.0 KD (0.9-1.1), no abnormal stats. My account was wrongfully banned for 'gameplay enhancement' with no email notice. All appeals were rejected; I was falsely accused of cheating.

     

    On the same day, 2025 Oil Cup winners QQ & Kasa were also banned wrongly, proving your system's mass false bans. They were quickly unbanned through contacts; many others also succeeded.

     

    I could not submit a ticket until half a month later due to email issues. I appealed in November, contacted you 10 times via guest mode, waited 48h, only to be told to stop.

     

    My stable stats prove fair play. I invested massive time, money and passion, but you trampled all my dedication. This is unfair. I demand manual review and reversal of this wrongful ban. I will not accept this baseless permanent ban

    To make matters worse, I cannot even submit a new appeal ticket now, as your support team has marked my case as “no response”. You have denied me even the right to keep fighting for justice.

    I was wrongfully banned in mid-October. At first, I was not allowed to create a support ticket. After asking around, I learned that the email provider I was using blocked ticket creation, and I had to contact support to change my email. I struggled until November to file my first appeal. Now it is almost February 2026. I have wasted months of time and energy on this.

     

    I demand to know: what kind of cheat could possibly result in my account stats? On the day I was banned, I was in Platinum and even dropped a rank. Do you really think I cheat while losing ranks? Or do you just refuse to acknowledge that I have maintained the same consistent skill level for years?
