Was Plat 2 then got reset to Rookie 4. Played a ranked game last night and hit plat 2 before getting off. Got into apex not long ago and somehow I got demoted to rookie 4. I checked my previous match and I was able to see that I was indeed in plat 2. I thought it was a visual bug so I started a ranked game and somehow I was in a rookie lobby. I quit the match to see if that would reset it and it didn’t. It seems there is some sort of bug that is causing this issue to occur since I’ve seen a lot of people with the same issue today.

I was just about to hit plat and I'm gold 4 again is there a fix ?
When I switch device my rank switches to the lowest rank of the last time I played on the device. Could I get them to resync?
This just happened to me for the Prodigy Season. I went from Silver 2 to Rookie 1.

This thread was related to a specific mid-season issue rather than the usual rank reset that occurs at the start of each season. Locking it here as this particular issue was resolved.
The rank reset this season works a bit differently, as it was based on your MMR (listed in the patch notes as your tracked skill value) and not just your rank last season. That may be causing the confusion, feel free to check the patch notes for more details!
