Was Plat 2 then got reset to Rookie 4. Played a ranked game last night and hit plat 2 before getting off. Got into apex not long ago and somehow I got demoted to rookie 4. I checked my previous match and I was able to see that I was indeed in plat 2. I thought it was a visual bug so I started a ranked game and somehow I was in a rookie lobby. I quit the match to see if that would reset it and it didn’t. It seems there is some sort of bug that is causing this issue to occur since I’ve seen a lot of people with the same issue today.

A less extreme case. I was Diamond IV and a half; and logged back on to see I was Plat I and a quarter.
I was diamond 4 300 plus points into it and then I come on and I'm demoted to plat 1 with 300 points. Lost 900 lp for not even playing. Psn - Xx-Lil_Panda-xX

Playing since day one and I never lost my rank like this before, this is absolute garbage.
U clearly are not interested in making this game better anymore, just sucking more money from it before it dies! I was plat 4 less then 100 points from plat 3 now I’m gold 1 account name TTVPBnjiggle
Same issue here. Started yesterday bronze 4, ended in Silver 1. login today and I am reset back to bronze 4.

Hey jonydixon, thanks for the details. This particular fix would have put you back to your rank before the issue took place, not at the end of the day. We don't currently have any other info to share regarding RP gained during that time, but we'll update the thread once we have more news.

Last night around 5:30 pm PST we had a temporary service disruption that caused some player ranks to reset to Rookie IV. We have since resolved the issue as of 10:30 pm yesterday and all player ranks should be back to where they were before the disruption occurred.

Like will it update back to where it was in Silver II 121 RP? This is really frustrating considering how sweaty these games have been and the constant fourth parties and three stacks. My user is Dabrani. Is it even safe to play anymore?
