Repeatedly Crashing

So since the start of this split I've been crashing at least 2-3 times during a match, sometimes at the start, other times mid-way through. Im playing on an Xbox one and have never had this issue until this split. The screen freezes but the ambient map audio still plays. Id very much like to play but if I back out and reopen the game Ill get an abandonment penalty. If I stay on the frozen screen and not back out it will still give me the penalty. The longest I've had the screen freeze for is 2 hours. Im at a loss as this is one of my favorite games but I  literally cannot play it .
