.50 should not take more than one hit to kill

Come on, with a .50 on a tank you think it should take more than one hit? I am getting the hit markers and takes more than one hit to kill. So a M4 with 3 to 4 hits, and a .50 takes 2 to 3? Bro, .50 is a dirt nap with one shot.
