Account Ban - No Violation

I was playing Battlefield 6 when I was kicked off the servers today at 3pm (Sunday 12.10.2025). I've been playing with no issues for 2 days now. I am a courteous player, and rarely use the chat window.

Nevertheless, I was kicked from the server, and when I try to log in, it says my account has been disabled, saying "Activity on this account has violated EA's User Agreement. We've permanently blocked access to this product" I'm not sure what I have done. This is incredibly annoying. Can you explain how I have violated the terms and conditions? When looking at my EA Penalty History, it says there has been no history of violations on the account. We can't dispute the false ban because it doesn't show on our account, so we are unable to submit a ticket or form.

Please see the images attached.

The BF6 game was purchased via Steam. My EA account is linked to Steam. My Steam account has a different email account from EA, but this has never been an issue with any other EA game (including all the Battlefield games I own).

I have a separate EA account for my PS5, but this is not linked to my Steam account - it's completely separate and part of the Sony ecosystem.

There are 100's of people experiencing the same issue over the last few days, and many more over the last few hours - I assume it's a technical issue with the game or its servers. If not, could you please clarify the reason for this action and confirm whether there has been any mix-up between accounts? I would appreciate your help in resolving this matter as soon as possible.

  • Add me to the list of mystery bans.  Not sure why I tried to even come back to the Battlefield franchise for this mess.

  • The saddest thing is that Chinese players bought hundreds of thousands of copies of Battlefield 6 in China, but Chinese players don't have their own servers and can only play the game through VPNs. In this process, it is impossible to have a stable IP address, and the constant change of VPN nodes is recognized as abnormal by the official system, leading to bans. I experienced this myself. We have established a community where hundreds of people discuss issues related to China, hoping that EA will pay attention to this issue and value Chinese players. Thank you.

    Me too.

FIrst I get the purchase bug, so couldnt play for 24 hours. Never received the compensation.

Then I finally got in on Sunday, played the campaign for 45 mins then couldnt connect, only to be told Im banned, despite the fact Ive never cheated.

Asked for refund, and bought on steam as they suggested for the purchase bug and my access has been disabled on there too.

So requested refund again and uninstalled.

I was looking forward to thi so much. Now Im just left banned and disppointed. Im also going to cancel my subscription. They ban me, Then I ban them.

Never ever ever buying an EA game again. Im gone. This was their last chance.

It's the silence that is infuriating. They could at least acknowledge there has been an issue and they are working on a solution. I'm not even sure they know there is an issue!

Snaped4 - I have none of those apps. I'm just using Windows 11, and have Phone Link, so my Android phone connects. I obviously have OneDrive and Dropbox, but that's it. I was playing hardcore when I was terminated from the game; it initially stated that the server was full, and I was 2,500 in the queue. So I quit to the Main menu and was about to look for a new server when the ban message appeared. All very random. The previous day, I had the Omen App on the laptop to monitor the GPU temperature, as it felt pretty hot to the touch. But I didn't have it on that day. Just weird.

  • Hi,

I have the exact same problem. I noticed someone said that maybe Fan Control is an issue. That is a program I run, Having said that, I should be allowed to run a fan managment app without getting banned from the game. This is such a bummer. My EA and Steam accounts are from 2009 and I've never been banned for anything.
