Battlefield 6 Stick Drift Bug; on PC with Xbox Elite Controller

I have severe stick drift in this game which affects both joysticks. I play through Steam with an xbox elite controller. I have tried every troubleshooting method I could find online to fix it to no avail. I even purchased a brand new elite controller and had severe stick drift out of the box. This is the only game that I have stick drift with, so I feel confident that it is not the controller. I have to turn my deadzone settings to 16 before it seems to not be an issue, but this puts me at a considerable competitive disadvantage when trying to fine tune my aiming (especially in close quarters gunfights). One thing I did notice is that if I plug a regular xbox controller in there is no stick drift at all.

It appears there are a handful of people with the same issue as me and I haven't seen any update or "fixes" for this. Does EA or anyone in the community have any updates regarding this issue? Has anyone that experienced this found that switching to another controller like Scuff fixed it? I don't want to buy another brand new controller again, especially if it's not going to solve the problem. I just love playing this game with my group of gaming buddies but this bug is sadly making it unplayable.

Thanks in advance to anyone who has any updates or shares the same pain as me.

I have a similar issue on Xbox with a Gamesir G7 Pro, but I only get drift on the left stick. I'm also able to keep my deadzone settings pretty low, around 2. This only happens on BF6.

I check my deadzones in the gamesir app before I launch BF6 and it's perfect, 0.00. It stays fine until my first death, and then I start to notice drift in the map/spawn screen. What's weird is that after every death, it seems to change, like it gets better or worse and sometimes the drift will go away for a round. But it always comes back.

My fix is to jump to the gamesir app while in the map/spawn screen and recalibrate my sticks really quick. This fixes it for a couple rounds (usually), but I have to do this countless times while I'm playing.
