Campaign Not Launching

i have the exact same issue, ive tried lowering graphics etc and nothing has worked

Same issue here.  Can't play the campaign due to this, what is up?

yeah i had the same thing, campaign crashed right after picking difficulty, no error or anything. turned out it was cuz of xmp in bios. just disabled the xmp profile and it started working fine after that.

I was able to play the game by first selecting the difficulty I didn't want to play on in the campaign section of the settings page, then selecting the difficulty I wanted to play on in the main menu, but it seems that selecting a difficulty I'd already set causes the game to crash.

I played the first mission, now when i select continue the game attempts to restart in campaign mode then shuts down without opening

Was having the same issue.  Tried what NH004 suggested and it worked for me.  I clicked on the next difficulty, then clicked back to the one I wanted and selected it.  Note, the multiplayer screen closes and the campaign opens in a new window.

Also note:  Trying to select the first mission from the mission select screen also crashed my game.  Will try it again after completing mission 1 and update.

Update 1:

Selecting "continue" from the MP menu and then "start mission" crashes the game.  Choosing the mission you want first, then selecting "start mission" also crashes the game.

Trying to change the difficulty STILL also crashes the game, even when selecting completed missions.

Basically, if you are wanting to play the campaign, either be prepared to play the ENTIRE campaign (I had no issues while in the campaign itself), or be prepared to start over from the beginning.

I honestly don't understand how something this important is so screwed up.

EDIT:  Tried to continue the PREVIOUS mission I'd completed, and that seemed to work for me.  It'll load from one of the last checkpoints and you'll have to complete that section again, but it's potentially a band-aid fix.
