Can't type in chat, glitching like alt-tabbing

Every time I try to type in the in-game chat, the issue occurs - I’m completely unable to write anything. The chat starts glitching and rapidly cycles through all states (hidden, active, visible), behaving exactly as if the game is constantly alt-tabbing or losing focus. When this happens, I can’t spawn, I can’t properly click or interact with the game window, and I lose control of the game entirely. The only way to regain control is to randomly spam mouse clicks and keyboard inputs until the game finally responds again. I’ve read that for some users this might be related to overlays such as MSI Afterburner or similar software. However, I always monitor my system temperatures and can’t realistically play without this type of overlay. That said, the bug also occurs even when all overlay software is fully disabled, so overlays don’t appear to be the root cause.
