1. Fully close Battlefield 6 and power cycle both your PS5 and your router/modem.
2. Set manual DNS on your PS5:
Primary: 8.8.8.8
Secondary: 8.8.4.4
3. Check your PS5 NAT Type:
Go to Settings > Network > Connection Status.
- If it’s Strict or Moderate, enable UPnP or resolve Double NAT / set up port forwarding on your router.
4. Retry joining alone:
Attempt to join solo without being in a party or community-created lobby.
5. Disable cross play and test the game
6. Try disabling Rest Mode on your console. Instead, fully power off your console when not in use. This can help resolve certain network or software problems that sometimes occur when using the low-power “sleep” state.
