EA App Problems XP boosters and season pass compensation are missing

i feel like the players that are unable to play should be receiving compensation for this issue as we have purchased a product we cant use which is completely not ok and unfair 

Consumer rights I believe are being broken here.

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with the launch experience of Battlefield 6. I pre-ordered the most expensive version of the game, the Phantom Edition, on October 9th, ensuring I could play on the official release day, October 10th. However, I have encountered persistent issues preventing me from accessing the multiplayer mode. Despite having downloaded the game and its content in advance, I repeatedly receive error messages indicating that the DLC is not installed or that the multiplayer mode is unavailable.

I have attempted troubleshooting steps, including verifying game files and reinstalling the game, yet the problem persists.  I find this unacceptable, especially given the high expectations set by the game's promotional campaigns and the recent controversies surrounding other titles like Call of Duty  Black Ops 7.

Given EA's extensive experience in launching major titles, I believe there should have been adequate preparation to handle the anticipated demand. As a resolution, I request compensation for this frustrating experience. Specifically, I believe that those who purchased the standard version should receive access to the Phantom Edition as a goodwill gesture. Additionally, I urge you to consider providing a partial refund or other form of compensation to those of us who purchased the premium version.

I would reiterate this, I am having the same issue and have been in chat for the last 2 hours and wait time is going up. I have even tried requesting a full refund and clicking on the link for a refund guess what happens. The page shoes and error, it is as if EA has planned it

I purchased the phantom edition too, jokes on me - on the EA app it just gives me the option to buy it again instead. It's like i did not even get what i paid for whatsoever... And i ofcourse cannot play either... And im guessing refunding is a joke to try aswell.

I strongly agree. There should be some form of compensation, especially considering that everyone else who purchased the game can play without issues, while EA App users are left unable to access it. If we do want to play, we're forced to use the server browser, which is filled with either bots or constant spawn killing.

why should they? they just care for your money

I bought the same version, I as well purchased ea pro just to try and play again. I am now 120$ into this game and still unable to play! :(

i have earned more badges in the forum than Ingame ... sad 
Why ? because the forum is the only thing running without any issues

they are busy promoting the successes they achieved from the launch over steam. after 3 hours they only "may found the cause" and now another hour has passed without any further update.

Literally here for the same issue! WTF! This is not how a release should be. I hope we get compensation for the lost time for preordering. Plus, the fact that not one single add-on is registering. Some are playing and majority not. Geesh over $140 for Phantom edition and cant play on release day on PC using your app is ridiculous!

Like all here, I preordered the phantom edition through ea because it was going to go through ea anyways, so I was going to cut out the middleman. Like the rest of you I get the same error when attempting refund because everyone is flooding that page. I will be requesting the refund even after they fix this to ensure they will not be keeping my hard earned $. 

Verified everything is fine 197/197 files . Did all the india gurus tips nothing works. Stopped the smooth motion did not work. Turned my nvidia app settings to default (restore) it did not work. Still loads anticheat, opens bf6 and closes with black window without any type of error. Game is enabled throught firewall, and did all the "enchants" from firewall, antivirus, run as administrator, run at compability for windows 8, update gpu,cpu,bios,windows etc... still not working. Thanks EA that i can't play game from the beta. P.S. i am running 3090 and 5060 gpus with 13900k and 128 gbs ram. Guess i am not covering the minimum requierments. BTW i reinstalled it too. Running it from steam app.

You need to remove add-ons (uncheck all the boxes) in the EA app. Then, go to the game and DOWNLOAD the multiplayer add-ons in-GAME by clicking "Install." Add-ons must be downloaded in-GAME.

Mines broken on both.

I also bought the Phantom Edition in August on steam, I have the game but I don't have the extra dlc content 

No, in the EA app, you can just select the game from library, click manage, click modify.
You can uncheck the DLCs there, exit app, restart, clear app cache, do first steps over and check boxes this time, new files download, you're done.

Phantom Edition access: EA Play Pro members received the Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition as part of their membership, which may be viewed as compensation for the initial problems. This edition includes extra cosmetics and XP boosts.

Free content and XP boosts: In addition to fixing the app, EA Play members were given an "EA Play Deployment Pack" containing cosmetics and XP boosts to compensate for the launch problems. 

But it is only EA PLAY members.
Then I saw something else that said all EA app users, yet nothing in my inbox, where they said you would be notified.

I had the same problems it’s unacceptable.
