EVGA Drivers trip anti-cheat

On launch, I get a Security Violation notice: "EA AntiCheat has detected an incompatible driver. Please update or disable 'c:\programfiles (x86)\evga\kernel\driver-x64.sys' and restart. (119)".

The only thing I can think of is that I use EVGA Precision X1 to manage my graphics card(An EVGA 2080Ti)

  • This just happened to me as well.... Not a single thing has changed other than whql release nvidia drivers... this is beyond frustrating.

  • I had to remove EVGA X1 to play Ballefield 6. EVGA says its on Battlefield. Using Afterburner for now. There was a Battlefield update today. I used DDU and reverted back to Driver 596.41 and still didn't work.

  • Please fix this major issue where the EA anti-cheat blocks the EVGA graphics card driver—specifically `c:\program files (x86)\evga\Kernel\driver-x64.sys` (Error 119)—when running Battlefield 6; this driver is essential for controlling all the functions of EVGA graphics cards.

  • Most recent BF6 update started causing this bug.

I use EVGA Precision X1 to control my GPU voltages and fan curves. I am not going to uninstall it to play BF6. This is a false detection - fix it please.

  • Same exact issue.. I've been able to play BF6 since launch using EVGA Precision X-1 to control my GPU, today I fire up the game and get this stupid error.  There's NO WAY I'm changing my whole GPU workflow for this game, fix it or I delete it.  This is ridiculous.

  • Same issue here, I hope DICE/EA fixes it fast. My GPU is a 3080Ti from EVGA, if it helps.

Never had this issue before, only started today; I'd rather keep using Precision X1 since I've tuned my card through it and it's definitely a legit program.
