Party Leader not guaranteed Squad Leader
Platform: PC/PS/Xbox, Game version: v1.0.1.0
When queueing with a party, squad leadership is not consistently assigned to the party leader. Most of the time another party member gets squad lead, occasionally a non-party (random) player of the squad gets it.
This makes basic squad management a pain: inviting a friend mid-match, kicking to make space, locking the squad, etc. I have to figure out who has lead and ask them to do it.
Happens roughly 70% of the time for me and.
Been an issue since the beta. It’s getting genuinely frustrating and kills the flow when playing with friends—which is how I play almost every match.
Steps to reproduce:
- Form a party with friends.
- Join any multiplayer mode (,Conquest, etc.).
- At/after match start, check who got squad leader: it’s often not the party leader, and sometimes it’s a random.
