Scoreboard pops up and gets stuck when aiming down sights (ADS)

It's happening on PC as well, and it's not even on their list of known bugs....So, yeah, guess they'll just keep this "feature".

I have a very similar experience that you describe. I am on PC. It also happens randomly when I ADS/right-click. More often than not I can escape it and return to regular play.

I also experience where I sometimes cannot exit the scoreboard screen and I have to restart the game. It seems to happen most often when I am downed while I was ADS. Though, it can happen on any ADS/right-click it seem. When I am permanently stuck in a scoreboard view, I can hit the Esc key to reach another "Menu" scoreboard view. And that's all I can do until I restart the game.

If I play for one hour, three times a week, I will experience the "Escaping" scenario, where I can return to normal play once I die and respawn, at least once for each session. Not usually more than twice a session. I will experience the "Non-Escaping" scenario where I have to kill and restart the game at least once over that week. I sound like a crazy person when I try to describe to my team what is happening. I sympathize with anyone else struggling with this.

There is a fix that I found that worked for me. Under controller > edit settings > UI control mapping, unbind interactive scoreboard. If on M/K, mouse & keyboard > UI keybinds, unbind interactive scoreboard. I only needed to do one not the other. Hope this helps!

Couldn't figure out how to get out of the stuck leaderboard bug without killing myself at times or completely resetting the game. Thank you, this helped! For controller users I switched it from L2 to SQUARE.
