Squad/Party voice channel should stay persistent

When you join a party, the game automatically moves you to the 'Party Channel' for voice chat.
It is not obvious that this occurs and some players may be unaware there are even multiple voice channels.
When you join a game, being in the 'Party Channel' means you cannot hear/speak to squad members who are not in your party.
This is particularly obvious in REDSEC Battle Royale Squads when you have a party of 2/3 and the 4th person in the squad can't hear anyone.

There is an option to change to the 'Squad Channel', in 2 different places (one in settings, the other in party management) however sometimes this doesn't load until after the match has started or sometimes fails to load entirely.

The main problem with this is that once you change channel to 'Squad Channel', you will revert back to 'Party Channel' at the end of every game.
Most people probably have no idea this is happening and just think no one uses a mic.

The default channel should always be Squad, with a manual change to Party, and the setting should remain on whichever you choose until you change it manually.

  • At the very least, give us a **bleep** keybind to switch voice channels rather than having to go through the audio settings every time...
