A friend of mine recently bought the game to play with us, but his game is constantly crashing with error codes ce-108255-1 & ce-108262-9. He tried to restore licenses, uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple of times and still the crashes are constantly occurring for him. Is this happening to anyone else?

As it says on the following page, be very sure whether you want to reset your console on step 4 as ALL data will be lost. Do try the other steps though:
Tried all of these steps and still an issue. Even tried a different non 4k TV and different HDMI cable and was able to play my first game without crashing but now crashing again
