"Your Windows version is not supported" 3/17/26

Hi everyone,

We’ve been able to identify what’s causing the “Your Windows version is not supported” error for many of you.

Even though you are correctly running Windows 10/11, in some cases Windows compatibility mode is enabled for the EA AntiCheat launcher, which makes the system report itself incorrectly (e.g. as Windows 8). This then causes the game to block launch.

This should unblock you immediately:

1. Navigate to your game install folder
2. Locate: eaanticheat.gameservicelauncher.exe
3. Right-click → Properties
4. Open the Compatibility tab
5. Uncheck: “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”
6. Click Apply → OK
7. Launch the game again
