Ideas
First season on myteam and in the starter car which is, by design, rubbish, but it is honestly unplayable on controller. 96 AI, medium TC, all other assists off except for anti lock. Japan, all grid on wets but the grip is non-existent whereas the acceleration the AI can get out of corners is comical. I turned temp simulation off for tyres.
It's a slow car, but I'm still amongst the backmarkers and can fight in dry, in wet it is Tokyo drift and a pointless task. I don't like the idea of having to lower AI when it's wet as the conditions could change throughout the race. By no means am I quick but the car is like driving on ice as many people have said.
I agree with the poster above who suggested AI is too slow in dry conditions and needs increased to match the level of challenge in wet. I'm not 110 level, but it illustrates the disparity between dry and wet performance. If I can be competitive on 96 in dry, then what is 96 in the wet? +10? It's guesswork.
I think 2 things need looking at - How the car handles in wet on controllers (I can't speak for wheel setup) and the AI disparity between dry and wet.
It needs urgent addressing.
