I'm honestly really angry at this point.
My comment probably won’t change anything, but I just need to get it off my chest.
All of us here have – once again – spent a lot of money on this game. I’ve already mentioned that I do see it as a significant improvement over last year’s title, BUT this issue completely ruins the experience for many players.
We’re talking about Career Mode becoming essentially unplayable!! Many races have changing weather conditions, and as has been mentioned repeatedly, they are a disaster – the AI is either way too fast in wet conditions or far too slow in dry ones. The balance is completely off.
We’re not expecting miracles, and yes, adjusting AI behavior is risky.
But what really frustrates me is this:
- You barely give any feedback here in the chat, and when you do, it’s completely meaningless
- This issue still hasn’t (we're talking weeks now!) appeared in the “Community Raised Issues” section
It honestly feels like you’re not taking this seriously at all. For players like me who buy the game specifically to play Career Mode, this is catastrophic, and once again, it feels like a complete waste of money. Please, at the very least, give us some clear answers:
- What’s the current status?
- What’s the timeline for a fix?
- Is it technically possible to disable rain in Career Mode? If yes, why hasn’t it been done already – especially since so many people have been asking for it?
… and if you’re not planning to fix it, then just be honest about it. That way, I don’t have to keep checking in here every few days to see if there’s any progress – and I’ll know to avoid EA titles in the future.
Thanks.

I agree with everything here. This feels exactly like last year, when the issue around AI not overtaking and sitting in DRS trains was raised. It was being “investigated” and then in September it was decided that they would solve it for future F1 titles. That isn’t good enough for the core fan base who waited months for no improvement and paid full price at launch.
It’s beginning to feel like we are being slow-walked to the same conclusion; by saying that we are looking into it as so as many people have raised it as a problem, but not fully committing to it buy adding it to the Raised Issues forum. Can already sense by the terminology they have used so far on the matter that they will inevitably say “we’ll work on it for future F1 titles”. Which would be a shame for a company previously called Codemasters, yet unable to resolve an issue like this.
