the AI’s pace in wet conditions on the wet tyres is far too quick and it’s impossible to keep up with them. Even changing to inters and doing faster lap times the AI are still going quicker on worn wet tyres. It’s almost like they have unlimited traction

Hey there,
Thank you all for your comments and reports. While I don't have any updates for now, can you please share clips where you can see the AI being too fast in wet conditions?
Thanks again! I'll keep you updated as soon as I have more info!

The AI straight line speed is excessive compared to player, seems like they have a much higher top speed or u limited ERS.
also AI performance in wet weather is excessive, particularly when driving out of corners they get so much more traction than the player and easily catch you up without player making a mistake, couple that with their excessive straight line speed and wet weather racing is so unfair and kind of broke

Hello, really like this game, great job at basically everything but this wet weather issue really hurts career mode immersion. Did some experimenting - AI is on average about 15 difficulty faster in wet compared with to dry. So if you play at 95 in dry and then it rains - then it feels like 110 - you’re 2 seconds off the pace. The actual driving itself in the wet isn’t bad - it’s just the disparity in traction to the AI is too severe.

the wet conditions are unplayable and additionally AI is much more aggressive in wet than in dry track , that is my experience so far in carrier

I agree!

I am having the same problem too. AI is ridiculously faster and like someone mentioned above, it takes up to 4th gear to actually get grip. They need to fix this fast because wet conditions are really boring to play.

5w6epck14mlq 100% agree with you. On other games the main part I played was career mode and that the part I like most about the game. You are 1000000% right that it ruins career mode.

EA_Groguet I get that making AI changes are risky, but can you please add the option to turn off weather in career mode if you’re not going to do anything? Career mode was the main reason why most of us bought this game, and, in my experience, this glitch is absolutely ruining my career mode - especially on the “fun” European tracks. I feel like it shouldn’t be too hard for you to add in as well considering you can do it in Grand Prix mode.

AEF251 That’s a fair enough point, never seen a rushed fix so don’t know how bad it can be but I also know that a few things need to be done short term even if it just little things like being able to turn wet weather off or something like that so it’s a bit more enjoyable to play. The only reasons I am actually playing it at the min is for online races and challenge career. Normally I play career mode the most but where the ai is so broken I just don’t want to waste time doing a career mode where I’m going to be rapid in the dry and like a snail in the wet. Also when it’s a wet dry race it is even harder which a lot of the wet races I have done before I gave up were wet dry races so it not even like it’s possible in those races to put the ai difficulty up and down.
The thing that makes it even worse is that well and truly it’s an issue that should’ve been identified when the game was tested.

hello when will there be a fix for rainy conditions? you can't race with the AI it's too fast I'm at level 100 several seconds faster in corners you can't accelerate normally so you can't play with it in this game..
