the AI’s pace in wet conditions on the wet tyres is far too quick and it’s impossible to keep up with them. Even changing to inters and doing faster lap times the AI are still going quicker on worn wet tyres. It’s almost like they have unlimited traction

Hey everyone. We've shared an update on the feedback relating to racing against computer-controlled drivers (AI) in the following post.
Even though we can't reply to every comment these topics aren't being ignored. Once we have more specific information to share, we will do so.
In the meantime, video footage and report codes are incredibly valuable in us - please be sure to add any that are relevant in the comments.
Thank you! - AEF2517 months agoSeasoned Ace
Take it one step further, use full assists to control for skill.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1H3M9dBLtH0&ab_channel=JarnoOpmeer Time stamp 10:05 - 13:30 . . . One of the best drivers in the world reporting AI have too much grip in the wet. You can see Stroll get away from him in every traction zone. Also, if the people who test the game do a short race in the dry and then a short race in the wet (control variable everything else like difficulty level) you will see the problem. Lots of people have reported (Here, Reddit, Youtube comment sections like in above video) so you know it's an issue, not sure what the screenshots/clips will add? No offence, but it's not our job to test the game for you.

How difficult would it be to add the option to turn off weather in the meantime? Is it a huge ask? It isn’t an ideal solution but if it isn’t a difficult task then maybe as an interim solution?

I'm sorry but sharing clips is not the answer here. For goodness sake just look at how many people have reported this game breaking issue. Instead of sharing clips, why not release the game in a less catastrophic state whereby the AI are insanely overpowered in the wet with limitless grip!
Seriously EA please answer why on earth was this glaring and obvious major issue not picked up on by your testing team?
It's beyond poor, if anyone at EA and Codemasters cared to play test this issue then it becomes quite obvious without the need for players to prove it with a clip. So frustrating!

why should we send clips of it? are you guys even playing your own game? its quite obvious and every where on youtube, reddit e.g.
for automatic players its unplayable, the 5,6 and 7th gear are to much short shifted so i am loosing 3 seconds on a straight without draining my whole battery, i will simulate every wet race i get in career.
imagine developing a game and dont even play it, thats means smth - simplyFabio7 months agoNew Spectator
Probably also because the AI dont simulate things like tyre temp. So while my tires are getting cooked in damp conditions and I have barely any grip, the AI arent affected by this

I have similar issue in F2, but also when track dries up, the AIs are racing on the wet tyres, with the dry tyres speed, but I am sliding every corner, like I was on the wet track using cold dry tyres. even when I change tyres from wet to dry tyres - my car is sliding, but the AIs are fast like they were on the dry tyres, but they are using wet tyres
