the AI’s pace in wet conditions on the wet tyres is far too quick and it’s impossible to keep up with them. Even changing to inters and doing faster lap times the AI are still going quicker on worn wet tyres. It’s almost like they have unlimited traction

I'm playing with traction control on and noticing I'm around 3 seconds per lap slower than the AI in wet conditions. I race on 110 AI difficulty and can easily keep up in the dry no problem at all. The car just feels like it's bogging down out of every corner. It becomes almost undrivable. The AI does seem extremely quick in the wet, but I’m starting to think the issue might be related to TC and the players car itself. It’s like I’m driving on ice causing the TC to work overtime, slowing me down out of every corner. Very disappointing - this needs addressing immediately.
That isn't anything new, Ai tyre temps have been locked for years. Apparently the AI can't handle managing their tyres correctly, which is presumably a limitation of the game engine they use.

Additionally, the AI has its tyre temperature fixed on 65° on wets and 90° on drys. It never changes, no matter what

Adding my 2 Cents, repeating things others also already mentioned.
- AI is way too strong in the wet (especially full wet, seems to be less severe in inter conditions)
- We can provide clips for it, but its quite evident that its mainly about traction out of corners. To me it actually looks like either I dont have enough grip, or AI does have too much (they seem to accelarate almost the same as in the dry)
- Enabling traction control helps me a little, but is still by far not enough
- We have understanding that changing the AI is difficult (if its not just a bug about being grip wrongly applied to my car or the AI cars), but cant we in the meantime at least get an option to disable wet races for my team/carreer mode?
I enjoy the AI a lot this year and think you mainly did a great job - but this one is a very big issue and we all dont fully understand, that this was missed in any quality checks of the game.

This is by far the most annoying issue. My friend and I are in a 2-player career mode, and in the dry conditions, 85 AI perfectly matches our skill, and we're able to pull away from the AI. But the second the track goes wet, a 7-second gap turns into multiple overtakes. The AI is way too powerful in the wet and impossible to beat. It completely ruins the game and destroys any fun we have.

Why is it when using an automatic gearbox in the WET the car is short shifting all the time even down the straights? therefore never reaching peak power. This only happens in the wet, the AI just fly past you. A lot of players are reporting this issue when using the automatic gearbox!
Why was this massive oversight not picked up on by your testing team? It's such an obvious and glaring issue. This absolutely has to be addressed immediately.

the question of videos is a classic first level support move. keep them busy by asking stuff that takes effort and time.
i had 3 races yesterday in rain back 2 back 2 back and it killed my complete joy of the game. I dont want to start the game anymore after that I started GT7 and laped some Super Formular races and had much more fun even I already have gold in all of them.
I don't really know how some one on the team raced in wet and said "yes this is fine lets ship it" they just need to start the game and start a race in the rain and in 2min with the AI you can see the problem.

As long as theres not coming handling changes you should focus on Testing and Improving the AI racecraft clearly making them maybe not faster but give them a feeling a management they have sometimes +7 or 8 fuel according to the dashboard of their wheel and i have +1,5 and theyre still as fast as me.

I just finished a race where it started in the rain and transitioned to dry weather/DRS enabled. I changed my tires to hard the AI kept wet intermediates on and they were getting the fastest lap and I could not catch them...totally unreal

CM_TGK I have read it and it says if and what you can do. Does that mean that potentially there might not be a fix for the AI issue?
