the AI’s pace in wet conditions on the wet tyres is far too quick and it’s impossible to keep up with them. Even changing to inters and doing faster lap times the AI are still going quicker on worn wet tyres. It’s almost like they have unlimited traction

so adjustments to AI will need extensive testing, well I’m sorry but that extensive testing should’ve been done before release, you release a game that is not fit for play in all modes and you charge £70 for us to have the priveledge of playing a half baked game, then have the cheek to basically say it might be too much work to fix/patch, I hope to god someone who cares about their games gets the liscense because year on year we get your games and there’s always at least one major bug!
The short shifting issue (bug) in the wet using the automatic gearbox is killing this game. The AI just fly past you on the straights in the wet because the player car isn't reaching peak power because of the infuriating short shifting problems.
Lots of people are experiencing this and it really does need fixing rapidly.
Add in the insane grip advantage the AI has and it's no wonder no one can keep up in the wet.
Early upshifts using auto gearbox on wet tyres!!!! Cmon EA, fix this !!

Is there any update on your investigations about the AI in the wet? I’ve seen you’ve listed the thread as being investigated but it’s not listed on the community raised issues pages? Would love an update on what you’ve seen or found out as I’m not playing the game until this is fixed, it’s ruined the realism having to just drive dry races to have a fair competitive racesv1ness_89 Very well put. I’ve simply decided not to open the game again until this issue is fixed.
The AI this year appear to be stronger in traction versus the player, even with TC off. But as a trade-off, the AI seem weaker in heavy braking zones at times?
Completely the opposite of F1 23 where the AI traction was weaker versus players without TC, especially in the wet, but were able to brake later and carry more speed around the corner at higher AI difficulty levels.
This isn’t the problem or at least not the main one. The AI are faster than the players even when you don’t use traction control.
