the AI’s pace in wet conditions on the wet tyres is far too quick and it’s impossible to keep up with them. Even changing to inters and doing faster lap times the AI are still going quicker on worn wet tyres. It’s almost like they have unlimited traction

Since this is, as you say, tricky, as any AI of player car traction issue will be; is it too complicated to give us a “wet weather off” option?
It sometimes seems on here that I am in the minority, but I am enjoying this year’s game quite a bit, except for this one issue. I would be perfectly happy driving on dry tarmac the rest of my life if it meant enjoying each race.
I can live with the rest, even if I do grumble about things, but what do you expect from an old man?

Same issue there, singapore 50% on wet ai 4 sec a lap quicker it then dried a bit so i switched to inters and was struggling to keep up with worn wet tires even if the conditions were clearly inters as other ai had box for inters

Agree too.
Imola in Heavy rain + Full Wets + Custom car setup.
Car is sliding like on ice and Bearman behind me on straight has such boost like he was driving with DRS open and has grip like on dry track :(. This is ridiculous. In F1 24 i didint have such absurd problems :(. I'm waiting for fix and patch. - H4rdy24127 months agoSeasoned Novice
same here, i am driving with automatic on controller and is impossible to drive in the wets because the automatic is shifting in the 6 7 and 8th gear so early

How is this being investigated but the ai in the dry isn't

EA_Groguet I completely get that AI changes are risky but who cares at this point. It is a racing game where you can’t race because in dry the ai is too slow in the wet they are far too fast and don’t even struggle, it’s ridiculous. £60 - £80 or something like that depending on what edition people brought and there is a massive issue. So I think I can speak for everyone when I say whether it’s risky or not, anything to at least try and fix it a little bit would make everyone happy.

shazzalady13 I care. In the dry I race without TC on 100, if it starts raining I turn TC on and still race on 100. While having to toggle back and forth between TC settings based on the weather is not ideal, I'd rather they not rush into changes and end up doing more harm then good.

I do not share your opinion, so please do not speak on my behalf.

Hi Codemasters team,
I’m having a problem with the AI in F1 25. On the straights, they are simply way too fast — they are already alongside me even before the DRS detection point, and the cars ahead of me are often nearly 1 second away, which makes it almost impossible to overtake.
Another issue is that the AI is also extremely fast in wet conditions. During corner exits, they accelerate like the track is completely dry, which feels very unrealistic.
Please consider adjusting these aspects, as it makes the game much less enjoyable in its current state.
Thank you!

I Play on controller and same difficulty (97) in dry i have pretty realistic races not too far from my teammate 50/50 but when it comes to wet i’m nowhere near. I’m about a second slower in wet than my teammate whilst in dry conditions its tenth separate us. Its not driving skill issue but during the races i notice AI cars when i follow them just have outright traction out of the corners and there’s not much i can do, i’m a sitting duck. If i try to apply more speed my car starts to wobble and eventually i lose control, in corners i can keep up but its the traction.

I went from never qualifying lower than 5th to qualifying 22nd, over 2 seconds behind the car ahead, simply because it was raining and the track was wet 🙄
