While qualifying in career mode with F2 the car will accelerate until the revs are at max then will sit at max revs until you manually shift up. This doesn't happen all the time but it does happen frequently enough that when it doesn't happen I end up shifting into an even higher gear which then slows me down. To fix this I thought In would just switch to manual gear shifting, but when doing that I can't set a button to down shift. So as I shift up in gears then break for a corner, I'm sitting in the highest gear I was in throughout the corner and into the exit obviously ruining the corner and my speed. This happens after I finish a quali session where the shifting does work but then the game crashes. When I start the game back up the shifting ends up broken as stated above. This bug was also in the 24 game and you never fixed it and for some reason have worked on this game for a year and still not fixed the issue. I'm not very happy that I spent what $70 on this game to play it early and I come to find that the same issues that plagued F1 24 for me still persist into F1 25 a whole year later.
I am using a PS5 controller on PC through steam.
