I just started my 3rd season and at the end of season 2 I spent around 120 million. At the start of season 3, I am at that same 120 rather than going back down to zero. I only have 13 million left of wiggle room under the cost cap.
I can maybe do one or two races before I cross the line. I don't want to keep playing because I don't want to ruin my My Team because of the constructor and budget penalties that come with crossing the cost cap.
Please fix ASAP, I have seen other people report this!

Honestly so frustrating, I spent HOURS going through a road to glory starting from the bottom; finally become a contender in season 3 just to breach the cap after the first race because it doesn’t reset. Very defeating since i do t even want to play it anymore after investing so much time ugh so so frustrating.
same here, season 3 and cost cap not reset, all i know is im 30 mill over now with rest of season to do ?. think will switch to carer mode till they fix yet another bug.
Yea same, I didn't even realize it till I was way to far above. There’s no way they haven’t fixed this for 15 days bruh
This was addressed back in patch 1.04.

- Fixed an issue in My Team Career where the previous season's Cost Cap graph could be shown, wrongly implying that it hadn't been reset at the start of the current season.
These updated stats will be applied to all Career save games that are started after this patch is installed and will not affect existing Career save games.
I have version 1.06 and didn't realise this till I got to my last race in season 2 found the patch note stating that version 1.04 was spoes to fix this but you had to start a new myteam so I did that last week grinded out a complete new myteam and last night finally finished it and even though I have version 1.06 and started a fresh new game my 2nd season is already saying I've spent 76-77 mil of the coat cap even though I haven't even done a race why is this still happenuṅ8⁵
PS5 player here. I've started a new My Team career after the 1.04 patch, but this issue is still present. The cost cap graph does not reset between seasons. I'm almost at the end of my 2nd season, and about to breach the cost cap. I don't want to reset my save because of this bug...
