Disconnecting From Races

I am constantly being disconnected from multiplayer grand prix and ranked races. The first issue is randomly an error screen will pop up for 10-30 seconds and then go away and If I haven't crashed out of the race, I am left with damage and being 30 seconds behind where I was. The second issue is flat out disconnecting and not being able to continue on. Both of these issue make me lose licence and ranked points.
