It hasn't been addressed because it's not a bug, it's a licensing issue. The agreement between EA and the FOM requires drivers to be represented by the number they use in real life, so they can't just be assigned a different number.
I understand the licensing issue with regards to a driver already being represented by a certain number in F1 but with an F2 driver who doesnt have an offical number in the top series wouldn't them using their F2 number that's already being used by a current driver in F1 be an issues. For instance if you select Jak Crawford he uses the number 7 but so does Jack Doohan. Additionally Enzo Fittapaldi used the number 67 as my second driver but that number isnt his offical F2 number (it could be his F1 number and im just unaware) which also led me to the conclusion that it was a Glitch/Bug. Thank you for the response though, I wasn't aware of that and appreciate you letting me know.
