Unfortunately, the bug is still there. I completed the entire strategy after selecting a flying lap and driving five laps + outlap on two different tires. It skipped the second practice session. I did a drive-out during the third practice session and drove on the compound I hadn't driven yet; that's when it finally worked. But you need 2 sessions it looks like to complete
