Everything was completely fine yesterday, but today on v1.25 at random times (seemingly after retrying/resetting a session or a session change) the force feedback breaks and starts violently throwing...
Ideas
While playing f1 26 on my pc my Logitech G920 has just randomly started playing up and started to have these problems:
- sudden loss of FFB
- randomly turning to the right
- not taking any input to the game
So far I have tried to uninstall all of the G Hub files and then do a clean install, uninstall f1 26 on steam, checked the integrity of game files, changed usb ports, and then reinstall and play around with other settings trying to fix the problem. I have narrowed it down to being f1 26 on my pc because I have been checking on game controllers software and the second f1 26 opens it stops working and says "your game controller is not connected correctly. please verify that is it plugged into your computer" and then the second I close the game it goes back to working again, I have also tried playing other games on steam like Assetto Corsa and they work fine no problems. So I have no idea what else it could be.
Have you tried clearing the hardware settings?
Documents\My Games\F1 25\hardwaresettings
Delete:
- hardware_settings_config.xml
- hardware_settings_info.xml
Then restart the game and set up your Logitech G29 again.
Please also make sure Logitech G HUB and your wheel firmware are fully updated.
I would also try playing the game without any other USB devices connected as sometimes they can cause interference.
