Hardware: Fanatec ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5
After updating to version 1.25, the steering wheel has become extremely loose. The center damper effect seems to have disappeared (or is severely reduced). The wheel no longer holds itself centered, so I constantly have to fight it and physically hold it steady myself. This makes racing sessions very tiring.
I experienced a similar issue about four months ago with a DualSense Edge controller (complete loss of haptic/vibration feedback). Now the same kind of feedback loss is happening on the Fanatec wheel with force feedback.
Expected: Normal center damper and force feedback behavior as before update 1.25.
Actual: Wheel feels overly free and unstable; center damper appears missing.
Please look into this. Thank you.
The game's force feedback was already poor—very weak and lacking in detail—to begin with. It was also hard to find a good, balanced setup that didn't suffer from excessive clipping.
But since the last patch, it’s been terrible; it feels like driving a road car with power steering—you feel absolutely nothing, and I have no idea what settings to use.
I have the T598 with the SF1000 on PS5.
