Moza steering wheel deadzone issue

I'm experiencing a small but noticeable deadzone issue with my MOZA R5 wheel in both F1 24 and F1 25. Despite setting all relevant in-game settings to zero (Steering Deadzone = 0, Linearity = 0, Saturation = 0), there is still a delay or "soft center" around the steering input. It's about 2 degrees either side of the center, where small movements of the wheel do not register in the game.

This does not happen in other games or testing tools. In MOZA Pit House, the wheel input is perfectly clean and responsive. I also tested it on gamepad-tester.com, where the input curve is smooth with no deadzone. I even tried Assetto Corsa, and the wheel behaves completely normally there with no input lag or deadzone. So the issue only occurs in F1 24 and F1 25.

I’ve already tried creating a clean, manual control profile in-game (not using the MOZA default one), re-centered the wheel in MOZA Pit House, power-cycled the base while in-game, and tested various settings. I also set the wheel angle to 380 degrees as recommended, but nothing changes the behavior.

This strongly suggests the issue lies with how F1 games process wheel input — maybe due to built-in filtering or smoothing around the center that isn’t properly disabled even when deadzone is set to zero. This negatively affects the driving feel, especially for direct drive users who expect precision around the center of the steering.

Please look into this issue or provide an option for true raw input mode. This affects the quality of gameplay for anyone using high-end wheels like MOZA, and it’s clearly a game-side problem since all other software handles the input correctly.

Let me know if logs or testing can help reproduce this. I’d really like to see this fixed.

Hello, I have only managed to get the Moza R3 steering wheel to work properly in F1 25 by putting it in both Moza Pit House and 360° gameplay. Regards
