My Team - Upgrade "Breakthrough Level 4" has no tangible effect on gameplay

Hey all, title is as above.

If you play through a My Team Career save, and you unlock the ability to get any of the "Aero/Durability/Powertrain/Chassis Breakthrough 4/4" buying these doesn't add additional modules, or any benefit to buying and owning. These are currently redundant upgrades that have no tangible impact on gameplay.

This is 100% replicable bug. This was found on the Xbox Series X version of the game.

Method of Reproduction:

  1. Start a My Team Save file.
  2. Playthrough the save file, focussing on the "Engineering" tab for "Facility Improvements"
  3. Unlock all the "Breakthrough" options until Phase 4.
  4. In phase 4, purchase any "Breakthrough 4/4" upgrade.
  5. Observe the R&D tree or R&D research/development.

Result: You gain no hidden unlockable upgrades, or anything of value, and have spent money on an ineffective upgrade.

I believe this would be worth it if there's some extra upgrades to unlock to help make the My Team car the best overall car in the game. That, or the My Team car needs a big overall buff to their peak potential.

    Any update around this one after I provided my save game?

    EA_Groguet​ (Edited after seeing 1.07 patch notes) Thank you for bringing this bug to the attention of the dev team. However, there is still the issue of not being able to surpass other team's performance. The "potential performance" chart in the engineering menu's show that the chassis is locked at roughly 50%. Meaning that even with a maxed out car we still can't max out performance in MyTeam.
