MyTeam cost cap not resetting and development issues

going into 6th season of myteam career and i  have 2 issues. My cost cap graph does not reset and i have spent almost 360m while the cost cap for this season is 140m. another issue i have is the drivetrain R&D. It is showing parts that have been there since like season 3. It shows $0 to upgrade and i cant do anything with them. 
I saw in a few articles that the cost cap issue should be fixed but the issue is still there for me.i hope i dont have to start a new career because 6 seasons is quite long imo.
