Hello EA Support Team,
I’ve encountered a serious issue after installing the v1.12 update of F1 2025. My Logitech G923 wheel now produces a constant grinding / motor noise any time the game is running. The sound is persistent - even when idling in menus - and is clearly audible through the system. This issue does not occur in other racing titles (e.g. iRacing, Forza, Assetto Corsa), which suggests the fault is tied to F1 2025’s software or how it interacts with the wheel.
Details & Observations
Wheel model: Logitech G923
Game version: F1 2025 – v1.12
Behavior: Constant grinding or motor “brush / gear” noise, sometimes exacerbated when making small steering corrections or crossing curbs
Comparison: Wheel is silent (normal haptics, no grinding) in other sim / racing games
Troubleshooting steps tried (so far):
• Unplugging & replugging the wheel
• Disabling vibration / force feedback settings
• Confirming wheel is functioning normally in other games
• Verifying game files / reinstalling the patch
Now the game is 100% unplayable as opposed to before the patch.
Could you please investigate this as a potential bug introduced in patch v1.12 that affects the G923’s force feedback / motor control. I would appreciate:
