Pit Lane position didn't change

Went into Season 2 on My Team, and my team still had the final spot in the pit lane. Can't remember where I finished in the Constructors in S1 - 8th I think? Does the order of teams in the pit lane not change between seasons to reflect the previous years Constructors standings? If not then this is a huge oversight as it can make a huge impact during a race if the pit lane is busy, and should be remedied ASAP!
