All modes, Australia pit entry. The HUD display stays red when you are well below the 50mph speed limit before the line and says “current speed 80mph, Distance 190m” even if you come to a complete stop! As you can see here, I've slowed to just 5mph and I'm about 10m from the line, and the HUD is still Red and thinks I'm doing 80mph.
This could cause drivers to go excessively slow waiting for it to turn green and cause potential collisions with a car behind.
Has anyone else experienced this? I’m yet to play any other track as I’m just preparing for a league race on Sunday
Out of habit from other sim racing games I usually look at the regular game display, but I just noticed this bug on the PS5, 100% length custom race at Madring. The pop-up display gets stuck on the initial speed in the off ramp before the pit entry line and doesn't update as you slow down before the pit entry line. All pit assists were off. Racing line was off. Brake Assist was off.
The Report Code in the off-ramp before the display pops-up was the same as the Report Code after the pop-up display got stuck:
