Player's retired AI stops in pitlane

The AI in this clip the player retired from the session, leaves and then the AI is released into the fastlane and suddenly stops without any reason. The driver who is providing the POV is forced to wait and loses a huge amount of time.

Since this is happening inside of the last couple of year's games: If a player in any multiplayer session retired in the pits, please KEEP the retired car in the pits and DO NOT release it again to prevent it. League's have been dealing with non-ghosted AIs who unsafely rejoin either to the track or the pitlane for years and still encourage drivers to do so, since it is still the safest way instead of doing it on track. Please change it so the car stays in or add a pase menu option to 'retire in pits'.
