Research and Development time bug

I’m in my fourth season of My Team career mode and all of a sudden after the first race of my 10 race calendar, the Research and Development takes 165+ days to complete. The only way to fix this temporarily is to close the game and reopen it. My My Team car is nearly maxed with one upgrade missing from all four trees. I also have all the facility upgrades but not all the employees and have hired Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher. I also have 300+ million in cash reserves. Was wondering if any of this fast progress could’ve triggered this. Please fix this as it ruins the flow of progression and would really deter people from playing the game if others are experience what I am.
