Slowing for my in-lap creates yellow flags not white.

Slow moving cars in racing create a white flag for the faster approaching car and the slow-moving car is shown a blue flag. Each flag tells each car what's going on infront/behind them.

That's not the case in the F1 game. EVERY time I slow down yellow flags come out and faster cars, that should simply drive past are slowing down and stopping beside me. This mis-use of flags has been going on for years. The last version of the game that I played was 2021 and it was just as annoying then as it is now.

You need to fix this. It's not in the "game" so it shouldn't be in the game. If yellow flags came out IRL for slow-moving cars, NO-ONE would be able to set a time in qualifying.

  • White flags are not currently in the F1 games and adding them will add a lot of extra work, months if we are being realistic, as the AI would have to be reprogrammed to adapt to it

If you take care of this now, you will easily make it to F1 27.

Unfortunately game development isn't that straight forward, especially when they're changing game engines as I suspect they are. Generally, it's a bad idea to copy code over from one game engine to another, so everything has to be re-done in the new engine.

So basically any time put into continuing development on F1 25 is just taking away time and resources from F1 27 development, which defeats the purpose of making 26 a gap year to focus on 27.

That's exactly why I wrote that it should be included in F1 27, and not earlier.

My apologies then, I interpreted your comment as saying it should be addressed in 25 so it would be ready to go for 27.
