I bought the “Aperture 1” livery, race suit + gloves. In MyTeam, within the customization tab, the livery is no where to be found. The gloves and race suit are there but no livery - spent pitcoin and wanted the livery most of all.

Same here. I Bought a new car livery but I can't find it under customization to be used.
It seems that only generic liveries (that is, those not named after what could be a title sponsor) are available to be used in My Team, though I assume that if you buy a livery named after your title sponsor, you might be able to use it, but I'm not entirely sure since there are title sponsor rewards that include a livery.
I'm hoping that they'll put some generic liveries in the store.This is NOT a bug! You can only use sponsor specific liveries in My Team if it matches your current title sponsor. Aperture is not selectable in the first season. If you buy the Xenon, X-Förmig or Seren liveries, you can use them in My Team right away.
