Team Radio Issues (PS5)

I can confirm this. The are many occasions when I try to talk with the engineer, and all Marc says is "Sorry, we don't have the right information", or he doesn't respond at all.

The radio overall seems like a mess this year. For example, if a car is 4.500 secs ahead of me, sometimes Marc just says ".500" but doesn't say "4".

The DRS malfunction bug happened to me as well. Marc said it is an engine issue, but the HUD was showing a faulty DRS. A few seconds later Marc told me that it is indeed a faulty DRS.

its not only on PS5, PC aswell. Jeff is almost completely broken.

EA_Groguet​ Hey there! Some more radio errors. The team radio is reallly busted this year it seems.

1. Marc is constantly referring to Verstappen as Piastri. If Verstappen goes into the pits or moves to first place, Marc says "Piastri is in the pits" and "Piastri is in the lead" or "Piastri set the fastest lap" etc...
2. Mechanical failure reports are broken too. Just yesterday, Marc said that the car has an issue. After a few seconds he said that I have gearbox failure and I should watch out for missing gears. The HUD however showed that my gearbox is perfectly fine, I did not have any missing gears, and I could finish the race without a problem.
3. Incorrect timings all over the place, but it has been reported before.
4. No response from Marc when asking for a Weather Report is frustrating. Sometimes he just stays silent, but there were several occasions when it was raining, every car including me was in Inters, and he said that Dry tyres are the fastest now.

I don't know what went wrong with the team radio this year, but the devs should check the whole thing again. Not only SOME options, but EVERY option! Please forward this to the devs, we need a fix ASAP! A fundamental part of the game is broken. :/ Thank you!

A few more incorrect or annoying radio messages;

• Randomly announcing every gap as 1 second when asking for race update. Ie “gap to the car behind is 1 second, Verstappen ahead, gap to the car ahead is 1 second” - when in reality it’s 5 seconds and 3 seconds etc.

• This is less of a bug, just an annoyance. Marc randomly starting most sentences with “OK”. If it’s just one line then fine, but when he’s giving a lot of info it’s really annoying. I don’t have an exact quote to hand but it’ll be along the lines of: “OK, you’re in P3, OK, the car in front is Gasly, OK we think they’ve got 1 more stop. OK, we’ve finished our pit strategy, see these tyres out til the end” - It’s just really irritating lol.

• When using a Rewind before or during a safety car, every subsequent use of Rewind results in Marc saying there’s a Safety car when there isn’t. Ie 10 laps after the safety car, use a rewind and the first lines Marc says are “Safety car, safety car, we have an alternative strategy” - There’s no safety car and no strategy.

I can confirm the safety car radio messages after using a rewind, happening to me on PC. 

Also I'm not sure if it's a feature or a bug, but also noticed that when I request info on car ahead or behind he will often not tell me the gap, but instead just states who it is and their last lap time. Would be fantastic to have radio options for quick "gap ahead" or "gap behind" without all the extra fluff.

I guess while this ticket is open for general team radio issues, I will also mention an instance I've had where the message makes zero sense with the context of the race. Towards the end of a stint and the tires are cooked, he messaged me about tire wear starting to take effect - ok cool that one does makes sense. Then a lap later he'd come on and say "no tire concerns at the moment". Meanwhile my front left is gone, that is completely false info. 

On Xbox too. 

The game is constantly telling me to pit every couple of laps.  Not on every race, but occasionally it tells me almost every lap to pit, sometimes as soon as I leave the pit.
