Unable to save game mid race in career modes

As the title says.. been an issue since day one! Have reported this a number of times and still nothing done or even acknowledged! Always get error unable to save with options to retry or continue without saving. Retry never works. Game saves fine in Grand prix mode though. I play 100% race distance so it's more than annoying. BTW AI traction is not a resolved issue, it's still a major problem especially in the wet.
