Hi. Of course we feel ignored; no matter how complex the issue is, if they actually cared, it would have been fixed in a day. It’s been three months—are we supposed to wait for it to be fixed next season? Why don't they just fix it now? At this point, I don't even care about the glitch itself; it's the fact that you treat us like idiots that really pisses me off. In FIFA, when there’s a bug involving Icons, it gets fixed in under an hour—why isn't there a wait until the end of the season in that case?

That is a wildly unrealistic expectation. Small bugs might get resolved in a day, but complex ones can easily take weeks.

You've mentioned this a couple of times now, please do explain. While I appreciate that the answers haven't always been what you wanted to hear, I disagree that you have been treated poorly.

I'm not familiar with EAFC so I can't comment on that specific issue, but not all bugs are the same. The solution was likely straight forward on that one, this one is not.

Good morning.
I work in informatic, specifically fixing application bugs. Every company I’ve worked for maintains a list of bugs ranked by priority; when a critical bug arises, almost all resources are allocated to fixing it. Here are three reasons why I feel you’re taking us for fools:
1- You say this takes weeks to resolve, yet you’ve spent over a year on it; clearly, you’ve never classified it as a critical bug.
2- This bug should be number one on your list. It’s not a one-day fix, sure, but it’s been three months. What’s worse is that you’ve been fixing other things in the meantime. I appreciate the visual updates to the Williams car, but what good is that if I can’t actually play the game? This proves that other things have been prioritized.
3- On top of that, you tell us it *might* be fixed in the new patch. If the error is already resolved, why isn't the patch deployed automatically? Believe me, rolling out a patch doesn't take weeks. So, either you know for a fact it will be fixed by the 8th (which I doubt is possible to predict exactly), or—once again—you simply don't consider it important. You don't care if we wait another 15 days—what does it matter to you?—yet you charge us extra for early access to the game.
If this problem were affecting e-sports players, you’d fix it immediately because the company would view it as critical. Right now, you don't see it as critical; it’s as simple as that.
I understand that those of you on the forum are just relaying information—I’m not saying *you* take us for fools—but the company itself treats us like idiots.
Put yourselves in our shoes: we spent 30 euros only to find we can't play. Don't expect us to say nice things. And be thankful we’re being respectful and not hurling insults—it’s not for lack of wanting to. What I said isn't directed at you, but it is clear that company policy has not treated this problem with the urgency it deserves, and that is the reason for my anger.

I was taking a dump and I got up to applaud.
Thank you for saying what many of us are thinking.

I think it's important to clear something up because I believe it's causing some confusion.
I did not mean to imply that the issue was currently fixed or that it was intentionally being held back. I was trying to communicate that the next patch was likely coming at the start of the next season, which would be around September 8th, and so the development team was targeting that for a potential roll out. If the phrasing of my comment misled you in that regard, I apologize.

Your message was perfectly understood. Your idea is that since there’s a patch coming, it’ll likely get fixed then. As I said before, the new season shouldn't be a factor; this issue should be addressed immediately once a fix is ready—I find it hard to believe it would just happen to get fixed on the very day the new season launches. I explained everything clearly in my previous comment; you're only addressing that one part—what do you think about the rest?
That said, this isn't an issue for you guys to solve—it's up to the company. I realize the only thing you can really do is acknowledge the situation and pass the information along, but that doesn't change the fact that what I said earlier is correct.
