VR not working (AMD 9070XT)

Try to go in your USERS/(USER ACCOUNT)/MY GAMES/F1 25/HARDWARESETTINGS AND DELETE THE XML FILES

Hey Folifab​ , is the game running as expected in VR after you've deleted the hardware settings files? 

I don't know if it was casual or useful but it worked. But... as you attempt to modify any parameter in graphic settings or VR settings, it crashes and you must restart PC, delete those xml again and it is very frustrating!

Folifab​ I can imagine how frustrating that must be, so thank you for taking the time to share what worked for you. These details are really helpful and should give the team a better picture of what’s causing the issue.

Unfortunately, the issue has come back. This time is Javelin Anticheat the culprit! it crashes and I must restart PC. Neverending story!

Mine are in "Users\[user account]\Documents\My Games\F1 25\hardwaresettings", but deleting the files does not make a difference. After I deleted the files I did not change any settings in-game and started a session straight away, but the screen stays black just as I reported earlier in this thread.

Apart from that as an update on my AMD support ticket: AMD support points to a game specific issue, given the fact that (for the users that reported here) all other games work fine in VR. Hopefully the investigation will lead to a cause and fix soon, as this has been reported to be broken since August 2025... Thanks a lot for diving into it and keeping us posted EA_cuervo​ !

Is there any other troubleshoot steps the team wants any of us to do to help with the issue? 

Very motivated to get this fixed asap, and happy to help if needed with troubleshooting.
